Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Engineer at Robertson Furniture Manufacturing, Inc.
As a Furniture Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new furniture products, BOMs, improving existing designs, and ensuring that all furniture meets safety and quality standards.
You will collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, marketing and sales both domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Analytical skills to assess product performance and make data-driven design decisions Project management skills to oversee the entire product development process Manufacturing engineering knowledge to optimize production processes and ensure efficient manufacturing Mechanical engineering expertise to design and engineer furniture products A bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field Experience in the furniture industry Understanding of safety and quality standards for commerical furniture manufacturing CAD expertise, Adobe Illustrator a plus.
An ability to travel for onsite, factory, customer practical demonstration, reviews and product research Recommended Skills Adobe Illustrator Analytical Cad Communication Engineering Furnishing Apply to this job.
