Responsibilities
? Ensure accurate valuation of physical assets (inventory and PP&E) on the company balance sheet and reconcile these accounts on a monthly basis
o Raw Material, WIP and Finished Good physical inventories will be taken according to company policy and will be led by the plant controller
o Fixed asset inventories will be taken annually and organized by the plant controller
? Prepare weekly/monthly variable and fixed spending analysis
? Explain variances to plant management
? Maintain accurate standard costing in the ERP system
? Develop annual variable and fixed budgets
? Perform all duties surrounding month end closing
? Monitor capital spending
? Authorize/Approve plant purchases, payroll, expense reports and SER?s
? Take an active plant leadership role in the areas of cost reduction and financial control
? Provide plant cost estimates as requested
? Participate in the plant safety programEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
