Manufacturing Safety administration OSHA
o Develop, train and ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures in all areas of the company.
o Maintaining the Company's safety plan and safety programs in a manner consistent with Federal, State and Company guidelines.
o Maintain emergency response plans
o Lead Safety Committee meetings, develop agenda, action items and follow through plans.
o Track and report company safety numbers, trends, and details of all work related injuries and accidents.
o Coordinate and keep records of safety training for new employees and required on-going training for all employees.
o Maintain material safety data sheets (MSDS) and insures accessibility according to regulations.
o Investigate accidents and insure incident and injury reports are filed as required.
o Maintain EPA permits and records of hazardous waste, air emissions and storm water pollution discharge.
o Inspect for department and site compliance with all regulatory standards.
o Assist in completion of any regulatory submissions, notification, etc. required to maintain compliance with federal, state and local EHS requirements.
o Conduct site audits and publish reports of deficiencies with corrective actions.
o Coordinate facility tours, inspections and audits by outside agencies and parties.
o File required OSHA and EPA reports.
o Work closely with all employees and supervisors to communicate, encourage and ensure compliance with EH&S policies
o Complete training needed to remain current with all Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory updates, requirements and industry trends.
o Manage slurry operations and EHS technician day-to-day activities in relation to


Skills Required:
(What can a candidate bring to the table)

At least 6 months related field experience working with Manufacturing Safety and Environmental requirements.

Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to think and work independently, analyze situations and make decisions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
