Title: Pharmacy Dispensing Technician - Full TimeLocation: Toccoa, GAPOSITION SUMMARY:Toccoa-based pharmacy part of a regional company is in search of full-time pharmacy technician to fill medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Pulls correct medication from shelf and scans against prescription label for accuracy. Packages medication in appropriate container for correct dispensing system. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations according to written orders. Labels medication container with correct prescription label and necessary auxiliary labels. Cleans and helps maintain equipment and work areas. Replenishes medications in emergency boxes accurately. Prints delivery manifests and places in correct delivery tote. Locks delivery tote when ready for delivery; insures totes are loaded to delivery vehicle. Unpacks items returned in totes and forwards to appropriate department. Pulls stickers for reorder items and forwards to Inventory Manager. Places received stock on shelves accurately. Keeps medication storage area clean and free of dust and clutter. Completes and documents all assigned medication storage area inspections at least monthly. Generates reports and labels as required. Maintains logs, records and other required documentation accurately. Collects data, conducts quality monitors and completes documentation as assigned. Assists in training of new partners as required. Pre-packages and unit-dose medications for inventory stocking and prescription order dispensing. Forwards out-of-stock and National Drug Code (NDC) change labels to Inventory Manager. Examines Batch Status Monitor to evaluate orders to be printed, packed, and toted. Forwards unresolved issues to immediate supervisor. Double verifies orders designated as a ? Quality Focus Home? .LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants with third shift and/or factory line experience preferred. Position requires the ability to be on your feet the majority of the time and person comfortable working at a fast pace. Desired applicants are hard-working, self-motivated, and quick learners who can work independently. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
